“La Madrada” jewelry comes from my original artwork called “Out of the Closet.” I have always felt the murmurs of my ancestors and I was exceptionally close to my maternal grandmother “Aja Henrietta.” She was born in 1925, but lived like she was born in the future: confident, independent, sexy, powerful, and authentic.
